The Greenway is a green corridor that follows the route of the Inner West Light Rail from Dulwich Hill to Leichhardt. It’s an important environmental and cultural transport link for bikes and pedestrians and consists of tunnels, raised walkways, and a range of parks, playgrounds and sporting facilities.
The role of MSA was to undertake extensive detailed BCA & DDA accessibility reporting on the various design packages and to certify compliance for the final design and completed works.

The project in Kemps Creek is considered the southern hemisphere’s most advanced wastewater recycling facility and Sydney Waters largest infrastructure investment in Western Sydney supplying wastewater services to over 400, 000 new residences and a construction value of $1.3 Billion. The facility is due to be operational in 2026.
The role of MSA has been to provide detailed reviews of the site-wide buildings at various design stages and provide recommendations to resolve compliance issues and provision of contractual certification confirming BCA and DDA compliance to Sydney Water.

The project involved the integration of the existing police station with the adjacent courthouse and substantial upgrades to create a state-of-the-art facility to accommodate several commands and units including the Proactive Crime Prevention team, Highway Patrol, Crime Management Unit, Criminal Investigators and Task Force Facilities.
The role of MSA was to provide comprehensive BCA & DDA Accessibility compliance reviews and reporting that considered the unique security requirements for the facility.

The project looked to maximise the use of the existing 13, 000m2 site to provide for a new and modern facility which included basement carparking, a 4-storey office building, workshops, bulk store areas and trade workshops.
The role of MSA was to provide building code and accessibility compliance strategies throughout the multi-stage design and to work as part of a broader design team to provide a cutting-edge facility to meet Councils growing needs.

BCA & DDA Audits of Existing, BCA & DDA Consultant for Design
The project was undertaken in two stages, firstly to audit and identify non-compliances of the existing facilities against current building code and accessibility standards. Secondly, the client engaged teams to develop designs to upgrade the facilities to address the compliance issues and better meet modern codes.
MSA were selected as the lead BCA & DDA consultant for the massive Hunter and Hunter North regions which included 45 total properties including 1 detention centre, 4 correctional centres and 31 courthouses. Some of the larger facilities included Tamworth Correctional Centre, St. Heliers Correctional Centre and Newcastle Supreme Courthouse. MSA were commended by our client for delivering such a large scale undertaking to a high standard and on time.
