Sydney Metro
Sydney Metro is Australia’s largest infrastructure project at over $80 billion, consisting of 46 stations as well as tunnels and large maintenance and support facilities. MSA have been the trusted lead advisor and consultant since 2016 providing Building Code and DDA Accessibility technical advice, reporting and certification across every station and part of the project to date. We’ve supported both Sydney Metro or alternatively supported the delivery teams to build a detailed holistic understanding of the project needs.
Transport Access Program (TAP) Station Upgrades
The Transport Access Program (TAP), now Safe Accessible Transport (SAT) program involves the progressive upgrade of NSWs older stations to meet compliance with modern Building Code of Australia and Disability Access Standards for Accessible Public Transport 2002 (DSAPT) requirements. MSA have been the long term leading BCA & DDA consultancy on these programs with over 150 station upgrades since 2007 at various stages of feasibility, design and construction.
